Zannan Pharma, Ltd. is a custom synthesis and contract R&D company based in Shanghai, China. As a custom synthesis and contract R&D company, in addition to quality assurance and timeline control, Zannan strictly executes the regulations of IP protection for our customers, which in turn has rewarded Zannan with satisfied and long term customers’ contracts from US, Europe, and Japan.
With 102 hoods in ~30,000 ft2 of lab space in two buildings, Zannan’s research and production units are facilitated with state-of-the-art QA/QC including NMR, LC/MS, HPLC, GC, etc. Equipped with 2 x 50 L, 1 x 30 L reactors and temperature ranged over -75o ~ 180o C, Zannan is capable of producing up to ~50 kg of wide ranges of reaction products in Shanghai site, whereas the production size >50 kg can be done in Zannan’s contracted facility in Zhejiang. As to the people, Zannan’s R&D team is formed by >50% Ph.D.’s and masters from top-tier institutions in China and led by experienced scientists who obtained Ph.D. from top American universities and worked in international pharma’s for many years in drug discovery, process development, catalysis, and polymerization technology.
Currently, Zannan provides: (1) “Zhan (Ru) Catalysts” highly active for metathesis reactions; (2) High-quality API intermediates and catalog products; (3) Custom synthesis and FTE contract research from lab-scale to pilot; (4) Process R&D and manufacturing in China, which would facilitate the drug discovery and process development for our customers to save their efforts, time, and cost. Moreover, Zannan Chemists also focus on development of the synthetic routes and methodologies (e.g., Zhan Catalysts for metathesis reactions, e.g., RCM (ring-closing metathesis), CM (cross-metathesis), ROMP (ring-opening metathesis polymerization), etc. for customer R&D projects.
