•Dr. Syaulan Solon Yang: VP in Chemistry

     Dr. Syaulan Solon Yang joined Zannan Pharma and served as Vice President in Chemistry in 2009. He received his Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University under the training by Professor Dwaine Cowan on organic material chemistry related to tetrathiafulvalene derivatives, followed by postdoctoral research with Professor Brian Hoffman in Northwestern University on porphyrazine and phthalocyaine chemistry.

     Dr. Yang worked in Searle (Pfizer) as a Senior Scientist on drug discovery in anti-inflammatory therapeutic areas. After that, he joined TaiGen Biotechnology (Taiwan) as a Chemistry Section Head and directed drug development projects in anti-viral therapeutic areas. Dr. Yang then held the position of Senior Vice President for R&D and New Product Development in Oriental Union Chem. Corp. in Taiwan before he joined Zannan in Shanghai.
